Hi there! I'm Janell, mom of three girls, wife to a sports fanatic and lover of all things artistic. Which includes, of course, photography! I started JMarbrey Photography in 2016 after realizing I was constantly taking pictures of my three daughters, and developed an eye on how to make them look just right... on my iPhone! My eyes somehow trained themselves and I began seeing the world through a photographer's lens, always seeing what would make the scene in front of me "picture perfect". My friends began to take notice of my ability to frame and compose even everyday photos, and they began to encourage me to take the next step. Ultimately, my super supportive hubby convinced me to take the plunge and launch JMarbrey Photography.

I'm so glad I did!! Since then, I've been so blessed and honored to have captured so many memories of weddings, birthday parties, special family events and have frozen young faces in time and have seen them grow as returning clients over the years.

I’m also the Area Director for youth ministry in Ridgefield, Washington called Young Life. All my spare time, you can find me pouring into local students, watching my two older daughters play soccer, and my youngest compete in gymnastics.
